Nuevo limite septentrional para el krill antártico Euphausia superba dana, en el pacífico (Crustacea, Zooplacton)

Abstract

The Antarctic krill Euphausia superba is recorded for the first time outside the Antarctic Convergence in the fjord region of southern Chile. (apox. at 50º S. Lat.) The encountered juveniles are supposedly expatriates from an antarctic population having reached this northernmost location through a combined effect of ontogenic migration and water masses circulation
