dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo es una estadística primaria de las observaciones meteorológicas de superficie efectuadas en la Base Gabriel González Videla durante el año 1962. Se efectuaron diariamente ocho observaciones sinópticas trihorarias durante el año, a las siguientes horas de tiempo universal : 03, 06, 09, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24. Además se efectuaron observaciones horarias distribuidas de la siguiente manera: entre enero y junio, ocho observaciones (13, 14, 16, 17, 19, 20, 22 y 23 horas T. U.), y de junio en adelante solo dos observaciones sinópticas adicionales (11 y 23 horas T.U.). Debido a que en el incendio que afectó al Instituto de Geofísica y Sismología en 1963, se destruyeron tanto el diario meteorológico como todos los diagramas de los instrumentos registradores correspondientes a 1962, no se contó con ellos para efectuar el presente trabajo. Por la misma causa no se incluyen datos relacionados con observaciones de aire superior.es_ES
dc.description.abstractThis is a primary statistics taken from the surface meteorolgical observations performed at the Gabriel González Videla Base in 1962. During that year there were eight synoptic observations performed daily and every three hours, at the following GMT hours: 03, 06, 09, 12, 15, 18, 21 and 24. Besides this, hourly observations were distributed as follows : eight observations from January to June (13, 14, 16, 17, 19, 20, 22 and 23) and only two additional synoptical observations from then on (11 and 23 GMT). Due to the fact that, during the fire that affected the Seismological Institute in 1963, the Meteorological Journal as well as all the diagrams of the registering instruments corresponding to 1962 were destroyed, we could not count on them to do this work. For the same reason, we are not including data related with upper air observations.es_ES
