Item Significant Additions to the Upper Triassic Flora of Williams Point, Livingston Island, South Shetland Islands (Antarctica)(1987) Banerji, Jayasri; Lemoigne, Yves; Torres, TeresaThis paper presents some significant additions of fossil plants to the Upper Triassic flora of Livingston island, South Shetland Islands, Antarctica. The megafossil assemblage described here includes 13 taxa belonging to Pteridophytes and Gymnosperms s. 1.: Neocalamites, Marattiopsis, Dictyophyllum, Scoresbya, Cladophlebis, Dieroidium, Xylopteris, Sagenopteris, Caytonia, Taeniopteris, Sphenobaiera, Pagiophyllum and Elatocladus. A late Upper Triassic age has been assigned to this palaeoflora.
