| dc.description.abstract | La presente investigación busca adentrarse, desde la Revista Topaze y sus caricaturas, en las representaciones surgidas en torno al conflicto internacional denominado por la historiografía como Cuestión Antártica. El análisis de las caricaturas permite desentrañar el imaginario contenido en ellas, acercándonos así a las estructuras de pensamiento de la época, vislumbrando en la figura del caricaturista a aquel sujeto que con su genio y talento logra plasmar, -y con ello educar a cientos de miles de lectores de la revista-, una defensa de los intereses nacionales sustentados en principios y derechos históricos, jurídicos y/o geográficos contra las reclamaciones argentinas y británicas. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | The present research seeks to enter, from the magazine Topaze and its cartoons, in the representations arisen around the international conflict denominated by the historiography like Antarctic Question. The analysis of the cartoons allows us to unravel the imaginary contained in them, thus approaching the structures of thought of the time, glimpsing in the figure of the caricaturist that subject who with his genius and talent manages to shape, and thereby educate hundreds of Thousands of readers of the magazine-, a defense of national rights based on principles and historical, legal and/or geographical rights against Argentine and British claims. | es_ES |
