En la Isla Robert (Shetland del Sur) se controlaron temperaturas en nidos de petrel gigante (Macronectes giganteus) durante 45 días, incluyendo parte de las fases de incubación y cría. Las mediciones se realizaron mediante termistores cada 6 horas. Los resultados se discuten comparativamente con la situación en nidos de Sterna vittata.
On Robert Island (South Shetland) temperatures were controlled in nests of Giant petrels (Macronectes giganteus) during 45 days including parts of the incubation and breeding periods. Measurements were carried out by means of thermitors every 6 hours. Results are discussed comparatively with the situation in nests of Sterna vittata.
